Britt Harris, Gold Star Ambassador, Children of Fallen Heroes

Britt Harris was born in Moore County, North Carolina. She was married to her husband Chris Harris in 2016. Shortly after their marriage, he deployed to Afghanistan in July of 2017. Three weeks into the deployment Britt discovered she was pregnant and gave the good news to her husband.

Tragically and unexpectedly Chris was killed in action one week later on August 2, 2017, in a suicide bombing.

Britt is now a full time mother to their daughter, Christian and a full time student pursuing her PhD. Britt is a dedicated advocate for Gold Star families and volunteers, helps with planning, and gives speeches at Gold Star events for families and spouses.

Britt Harris, Gold Star Ambassador for Children of Fallen Heroes, STEM Flight for Heroes programs. Classes will be held at Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving, Raeford, NC and iFlys across the U.S. in honor of First Responders and Military fallen heroes.
