The Largest Trunk or Treat & Festival in Moore County, NC

Saturday, October 29, 2022, was a very successful day. Started out the morning with low clouds and rain, but by 10am the clouds started lifting. Families and children started slowly filling in as the day got nicer. Dressed in costumes they gather at the Annual Trunk or Treat hosted by Moore County Airport, Children of Fallen Heroes and Festival D'Avion.

Festival D'Avion host The celebration of Freedom and Flight featuring military aircraft, precision flyovers from the Bandit Flight Team and other aircraft, vintage planes, cars, First Responders, Children of Fallen Heroes, Parachute Team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights including fixed-wing and helicopter sightseeing tours, live music, the 82nd Airborne Chorus, local vendors, a Junior Pilot Kids Zone with massive inflatables and games, tons of free candy for the kids, a Halloween costume contest, food and beverages, and so much more. Children of Fallen Heroes featured their STEM Robotics Display with Swift Robotics, Fairies by Halo Beauty Co. LLC (handing out candies), and children's book fundraiser for our beloved Moore County First Responders community engagement programs. Sign up for our best costume and much more.
