Swift Success: STEM Robotics Team Takes 1st and 2nd Place!

Updated: Mar 17, 2023

Yesterday was an incredible day for the STEM Robotics Program for Children of Fallen Heroes. Not only did they win both first and second place at the First Tech Challenge at the NC State Championship, but they also demonstrated true sportsmanship and leadership qualities that are just as important as winning.

The program, which is dedicated to providing an educational and supportive experience for children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, has been teaching children about the principles of robotics and technology. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, children learn how to design, construct, and program robots while developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.

Yesterday, all of their hard work paid off as the team won both first and second place at the First Tech Challenge. This is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. But what was even more remarkable was the way they showcased their true character and leadership qualities throughout the competition.

The team showed graciousness and support for other teams, demonstrating the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. They cheered on their competitors and offered advice and encouragement when needed. They also demonstrated true leadership by setting an example for other teams to follow, showcasing the values of respect, kindness, and support.

These qualities are just as essential as winning, and they truly set this team apart. They demonstrated the importance of working together and supporting each other, even in the face of fierce competition. They showed that true success is not just about winning, but about being a leader and a role model for others.

We are incredibly proud of these exceptional young individuals and their remarkable achievements. They are an inspiration to all of us, and we are honored to be a part of their journey. Let's celebrate their success and values with pride and admiration. Congratulations to the STEM Robotics Program for Children of Fallen Heroes on their incredible achievements!
