Children of Fallen Heroes Partners with Pinehurst Southern Pines Aberdeen Area CVB, Moore County Airport, and the Town of Carthage for U.S. Open Event Hospitality Team


[Moore County, NC, Feb 27, 2024] – Children of Fallen Heroes, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the children of military personnel, first responders, and foster kids, proudly announces a groundbreaking partnership with Pinehurst Southern Pines Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), Moore County Airport, and the town of Carthage for an official Event Hospitality Team during the U.S. Open. This collaboration will not only extend a warm welcome to attendees but also showcase the Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and STEAM Education Center. Situated just moments from Pinehurst and Fort Bragg, the 82-acre development will serve as a transformative haven, emphasizing inclusivity for all, including foster kids and caregivers. The Center will embody the mission of Children of Fallen Heroes, providing a nurturing environment for families of fallen heroes and the broader community.

Founded by Ken Wasley, Children of Fallen Heroes is committed to providing support and resources to the children of military personnel, first responders, and foster kids who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and communities. The organization's Retreat and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education Center, featured in the STEAM Education Development, aims to create a positive impact on the lives of these children.
